Ronix Vault Boat Wakeboard
There are two ways to ride a wakeboard:
- Edging and driving through the wake where your speed from attack angle and pop will determine your lift. This requires a higher skill level because you’re dealing with different forces from the pull of the line and the timing of your jump.
- Riding a thinner profiled board with more top water speed and less line load. This style creates a pendulum using more of a natural centripetal approach with less effort both on and leaving the water.
Ronix has put the Vault on a diet and took almost 20% of the weight out. Now a rider has more feedback with the water, less swing weight in the air, and easier transitioned turns. For over 20 years they have been designing boards recognizing that your shoulders and hips are not always parallel in wakeboarding. Your body is crossed up riding toeside, and more inline riding heelside, and every aspect of the Vault takes this into consideration for the proper foundation to your riding.
THE DETAILS:
- 3-STAGE ROCKER – Increased hangtime with more vertical lift – take your tricks higher than you thought you could.
- ENERGY NEUTRAL: 4 – Stored: a delayed energy means the rider is given more time to generate the full lift as the power builds from the tip all the way through the tail of the board. Instant: Reacts the split second the tip of the board hits the wake. A quicker way to generate lift with a super firm snap off the wake.
- THE BUILDING BLOCK – Each rail is designed separately, one specifically for your heelside and one fo your toeside.
- MAGIC CARPET – Open Weave glass construction that allows the perfect amount of resin through for a strong/lightweight/reactive board.
- M6 INSERTS – A higher thread count means more hold on a shallower depth. So now we can go to thinner profiled boards with a shorter insert without sacrificing boot lockdown. The result is boards with more feel and contact on the water. Available on every series.
- KRYPTO CABLE – Multiple fibres are brewed up and then woven together to make a stronger compound. The Krypto Cable surrounds the profile of the board and is fused together with the core. Combined with our monocoque laminated glass, this cable makes the sidewalls the strongest part of the board – not the weakest.
- MOD POUR – An ultra-stiff, lightweight, super saucy core – this demanding alternative foam is made from our exclusive blend of atoms. The highest strength-to-weight ratio we have ever tested – setting the standard of the most refined recipe of poured foam out there.
- LOW FRICTION BASE – Developed to get you there quicker. A bottom sheet that’s not a drag.
